"Ruematch" of the Century

Tonight Retro Realm Arcade held their "Sucker Punch: The Ruematch" event! The event was a glorified fight night. It featured some top notch musical performances from Ruevyn, Nina Bankz, and Ratz! Retro Realm sold some of thei hot selling snacks at the event! Their blue slushie is the perfect blend of flavor! I also got a chance to try their funnel cake, which is expertly fried, and topped with some of the finest powdered sugar I've ever tasted! The staff were very friendly, and made sure they had plenty of food to go around. The show kicked off with Nina Bankz, performing her hit singles "Sex Symbol" and "Cyber Cunt" The crowd went crazy for her. It was truly a grand opening for the event, and really set the tone for the evening.

The fights kicked off in the first round! There were many challengers that stepped into the ring to fight for the coveted Legendary Sucker Punch Championship! Here are some of the photos we were able to grab!

The most notable fight from the first round was by far Omar vs Nina. The first round was swift, as omar punched Nina right in the jaw. She hit the mat hard, but was able to get back to her feet before time was called. As soon as the second round started, Both fighters ran fullspeed and connected with the other's fist at the same time. Both competitors went down, but ultimately Omar emerged victorious.

After the first round of fights, it was announced that a performance was about to tae place, but the artist wanted to remain anonymous. After the music hits, out of nowhere comes the one and only, Katarina! She brought the house down with her performance and had the crowd going crazy!

he second round of fights followed the performance. Ashe and Omar took the stage for round 2. Omar threw punches left and right, and in the end he finished Ashe in two rounds. There was no stopping Omar!

The event went took a turn when local celebrities Nina and Ben started fighting in the ring! Nina provoked the crowd, and stated that she'll fight everyone, and several crowd members jumped in and started fighting her. The event security got the situation back on track, and resumed the competition.

Rue took the stage for her performance. Everything started out great, and then seemed to have gone sideways when Katarina jumped in and started attacking her! Ems had to intervene mid concert, but Rue clapped back! She picked Katarina up and threw her from the ring. She's very dedicated to her craft, because Rue kept performing through the entire situation!

When asked how she felt about the interference, Rue responded with the following;

"I think that Katarina gets a bad rep for a lot of things, but she's actually a good girl at heart and I love her. It was all for fun. Katarina had no ill intent! It was just for the giggles."

It was time for the Grand Finale. Omar stepped into the ring, followed by the newly dubbed "Vicious Vinny". The bell rang and the competitors raced towards one another. Omar took Vinny down in less than 10 seconds in the first round. Omar had a smile on his face. He knew he had this fight in the bag. Vinny returned to his feet, ready to go another round. Vinny came back in the second with quick hooks. He was pounding down on Omar, and took him out in a mere 7 seconds. Omar got back to his feet, and had a cold look on his face. This was his fight. He was going to take home the gold. The third round ended as quickly as it began! Both men knocked each other to the ground, but it was Vinny who was able to get up and claim the gold! Vicious Vinny is your new Legendary Sucker Punch Champion!

Weazel News reached out to Vinny, asking him how it felt to be the new champion. "It's super exciting and surprising. I never would've let myself sign up for something like this. I'm not very confident, but I destroyed the competition. It was so much fun!" - Vinny
